CATaLOG now talking to Twitter March 15

The CATaLOG project is coming along nicely and now talking to Twitter... :)

I've updated the project page with the general process of programming the Arduino and getting it to send the tweets.

You can follow the cats over on their Twitter page, though there is just test data there at the moment.

Moocards March 13

My moocards arrived.  I'm very pleased with them :)

New site look and updates March 12

Changed the very dark depressing look for something much more light and airy. I think it looks a lot better :)

I've also updated the CATaLOG project page with some more info and a screenshot of the first test application.

More changes on the way...

Doctors February 5

I phoned the doctors the other day to make an appointment for the first time. I was greeted with the following recorded message:

"Welcome to the surgery. For training purposes all calls to the practice are recorded. We apologise if some of our patients find this message too long winded."

I can almost picture the people who complained phoning up and finding the message has got even longer now thanks to their whinging.

Welcome January 7

Welcome to the new, new nermal.org which will hopefully be updated a little more often.

I'll be documenting some projects I'm working on in my spare time as well hopefully starting to write a bit more. The most interesting project for the moment is likely to be the RFID Cat Tracker which I'm actively updating at the moment.
